Mount Afadjato is the highest mountain in Ghana, at an elevation of 885 meters, 2,904ft. The mountain is located in the Agumatsa Range near the villages of Liati Wote and Gbledi in the Volta Region of Ghana at the border with Togo. Afadja is the name of the mountain whereas “To” in the Ewe dialect means mountain. Therefore it is pronounced Afadjato by the indigens. Despite what is generally known as Mountain Afadjato, the correct name should be Mount Afadja not Mount Afadjato. Saying mount Afadjato will only be a repetition of mountain Afadja Mountain. In Gblidi, a village 24km from Hohoe, you will find the highest mountain in Ghana, Mount Afadja. THE STORY BEHIND ATWEA MOUNTAINS

Atwea Mountains is located in Kumasi, Atwea to be precise in the Sekyere Central District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and it is popular for holding prayer camps not only for the Christian in Ghana, but for Africa as whole. Mount Kwamisa is one of the highest mountains in Ghana of about 2,479 feet.  A built prayer camp on the mountain. (Camp 3)    A portion of this mountain had been used as the Atwea Camp. Atwea camp is located on the Kwamisa Mountain that is the reason why it is the Atwea Mountain. THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN: ATIWIREDU MOUNTAIN

A tourist site is a place people usually visit for pleasure and interest. Although the country may look small geographically, it boasts of many beautiful tourist sites which includes mountains, falls, forts and others.  Mountain Atiwiredu located in the South Eastern Ghana around Akyem Abuakwa. It is also part of the Atewa rage where there is the Cenozoic peneplain making it interesting. The mountain rises to 2539 feet above sea level and is naturally endowed with bauxite for eco-tourism. There is a beautiful scenery and view with beautiful birds like pigeons to the popular bristle bill, blue headed crested flycatcher. Butterfly spices are very rare to find.
