KNOW ABOUT ABURI MOUNTAINS



Mountains are very important and they contribute widely to the Ghana regional climates. Aside that, mountains also act as a source of revenue to the Ghanaian Government for attracting tourists from all over the world to visit and view the beautiful scenery, others even enjoy climbing them.  Among these mountains is the Aburi mountains located in the Eastern part of Ghana.

The name Aburi is the adulterated version of ABUDE by the European missionaries and traders. Because of Aburi's location in the mountains of Ghana and its proximity to the coast, an agricultural research farm was set up near Aburi by British residents in 1891.

In order to keep fit, most individuals find solace at Aburi mountains. You will find others there already and also people joining them to climb up the mountains to either Peduase or even further because of the motivation one gets when they do it as a group with a common goal.

However, apart from the breath taking scenery, people meet and make friends with different people from various countries, regions, and continents. They can either have a strong bond to an extent of even being life partners. This means if you love to make new friends, that is the best site for you.

Mount Afadjato is the highest mountain in Ghana, at an elevation of 885 meters, 2,904ft. THE STORY BEHIND ATWEA MOUNTAINS

Atwea Mountains is located in Kumasi, Atwea to be precise in the Sekyere Central District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and it is popular for holding prayer camps not only for the Christian in Ghana, but for Africa as whole. Mount Kwamisa is one of the highest mountains in Ghana of about 2,479 feet.  A built prayer camp on the mountain. (Camp 3)    A portion of this mountain had been used as the Atwea Camp. Atwea camp is located on the Kwamisa Mountain that is the reason why it is the Atwea Mountain.
